Hours Of Operation: Tues.- Sat. 10am - 6pm. Open Sun. and Mon. on Holiday Weekends. We are located in Luray, Virginia, nestled within the Shenandoah Valley between the Skyline Drive on the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian Trail. We can supply you with all the outdoors adventure equipment you will need to enjoy your stay in the Luray area. Appalachian Outdoors Adventures carries all of your cycling, hiking, camping, and birding needs as well as skateboards and accessories. Rent a bicycle or a tandem and ride alongside the Hawksbill Creek on Luray’s Greenway or just enjoy exploring Luray and the many trails in our parks by bicycle. $7.00 an hour for a comfort bike and $14.00 an hour for a tandem. $15.00 a half day (four hours),and $25.00 for a full day (eight hours) for a comfort bicycle. Price includes a helmet and a bottle of water. Written directions and mileage are also provided for those of you who enjoy touring by bicycle. 
Gary & Linda Drum Owners and Operators If you are an early riser join us for a Saturday morning ride to Lake Arrowhead or a ride through Page County's countryside. Ride begins at 7:30 am at Appalachian Outdoors Adventures and mileage is anywhere between 10 and 20 miles. If you want to take a leisurely ride at your own pace we have half and full day rentals. Lunches catered, or to take with you are provided by A Moment to Remember restaurant and espresso bar.
